Move your body with intention

— in-person offerings at Truve Fit

The image is taken from the side, showing Kelsey on her reformer kneeling, with one arm rowing behind her and one arm reaching forward. Behind her are big windows, and a house plant.

I believe that whatever body you have right now is a good body and that one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is a more compassionate and more supportive relationship with it.

Pilates is my modality of choice for fostering this type of relationship, and with it, I help my clients deepen and enrich their awareness of how they move, where their body is in space, and that intentional movement can be easeful, safe, and enjoyable.

I am nationally certified (NCPT) and Polestar Pilates-trained.

my approach

I teach a contemporary form of Pilates, refined from its classical form by doctors and physical therapists to create Polestar Pilates. As such, I have extensive experience working closely with physical therapists to support rehabilitation in clients recovering from injury, surgery, and illness, as well as supporting the fitness goals and needs of weekend warriors, athletes, and desk job workers.

Whether you’re practicing with me one-on-one or in a group setting, you’ll benefit from my rigorous Polestar training, my experience working with bodies of all shapes, sizes, and abilities, as well as my own lived experience of what it’s like to have a body that needs to move but has forgotten (or perhaps never learned) how.
